Hello! We are Harold and Kumar, two sweet loving boys who have been in HALO's care for about 6 months now. The first two times we were brought back to HALO was because our families became allergic to us. Then we thought we found our perfect home, but our family then had to move into a place where can you believe this, they didn't allow CATS!! 
I, Kumar, found my way to the Humane Society until thank goodness my friends at HALO came to get me. But my brother Harold was still missing and I was so very worried. During the days we were separated, I became very depressed. Harold was the only family I knew and on top of that, he was my best friend.

Fortunately, the nice ladies at HALO stopped at nothing to find my brother and we were finally reunited! But now, a few weeks later, we sit behind these metal bars once again alone and confused. The loss we were feeling will forever leave its scars. Even though they treat us well and shower us with love here at HALO, we miss having a place to call home. We miss everything about having a family, loving hands that can stroke us and scratch our spots, or having a favorite window to lay in the sunlight for hours and watch the birds and cars as they pass by. We miss our family very much as we now sit and watch as people pass us by and say "poor things" and choose a kitten, when they could have had kings. We might be older and less active, but we are two loyal boys who will love you unconditionally. We get along with other cats and dogs. HALO will waive our adoption fees to the right loving owner(s).

Hey y'all -- Jerome here!
I am a 5 year young, Pit Bull mix. I have been told by many that I'm the best looking dog that has ever lived. I know that people are struck first by my beautiful, mesmerizing eyes! They are a blue green color and one of my eyes is even marbleized with different colors! Cool huh? And my looks don't stop there. I strut a healthy, lean, muscle-bound body, with a remarkable coat. As you can see, my fur is mostly white, but I have unique brown and fawn colored markings that really bring out my colorful personality. 
But aside from my outer beauty, there's much, much more to this loving canine than meets the superficial eye. I'm simply an all-around good boy. I love to play with other dogs and people. I am happy, affectionate, smart, want to learn, and so want to please that special someone. I love earning petting and attention through good manners and obedient behavior. The words "Good Boy" are always music to my ears! 
I love the way I have been treated by all of the caring people at HALO Animal Rescue this past month, since I came in as a stray living on the street. I have made tons of doggie friends who I also hope find good homes. But I really want to leave this kennel, get back out to play in the fresh air, and be in my forever home making my new master proud.  I know that I have lots of smiles and love to give. Can that home be with you? 
If you do decide to come and take me home, I promise I will be on my best behavior and I won't ever let you down! I want to be your friend, companion, and devoted hero.

Hello world, I'm Heinz !
I'm a young guy -- only 10 months old -- and tons of fun!
I managed to get lost from my family last April and was taken to 
Maricopa County and labelled as a stray. When no one came to find me, my friends at HALO welcomed me into their family. While they are a BIG, loving and very caring group, I would really like to find a home to call "my own" with people of my own.
Sure, 10 months sounds young, but I'm really smart. I learn new things quickly, and honestly I'd do pretty much anything for a treat. Actually, I would love to go to school to help me "brush up" on my canine manners and make my new parent(s) proud of my report card. I'm just an energetic kid, who wants to run and play, fetch and cuddle with people of my very own. 
Sitting in my kennel I think about a forever home. I dream of the fabulous end of the day snuggle time where I can just lay with my person and relax after another busy day. To be able to lay my head on their lap and just fall asleep knowing I am safe and loved. Greeting my wonderful human at the door when they get home, listening to them tell me about their day. And what a great listener I am! The perfect gentleman, I would NEVER tell your secrets! I could be a loving shoulder to lean on when times are tough. Giving kisses to show my unending love and support. The first one to help celebrate when things are going fantastic. Best of all, just being the one you call friend.
Please give me a chance and I'll prove to you what a fun, loving and devoted companion I can be. There may be 57 varieties, but there is only one authentic HEINZ!
