Lost & Found Pets

Lost your pet?
Found a stray?

1. Upload to Petco Love Lost

Add the pet’s picture to Petco Love Lost’s website to help reunite pets and their families. This facial recognition software is the first of its kind to help pets get home.

2. Create Flyers

Submitting a pet to Petco Love Lost should make a printable flyer for you, but you can also use this Google Docs template we created! Just fill in the blanks with your pet’s info and picture. Offering a reward is optional. Make sure to use a good identifying picture of your animal on a light background.

3. Post the Animal's...

You can also post the animal’s info and photo on the Facebook page Straydar and search their listing of lost pets. We also recommend using the NextDoor app or posting the pet on Craigslist.

4. Scan for Microchip

You can have the pet scanned for a microchip at any shelter, veterinary hospital, or emergency room. A microchip helps to identify an animal and who’s animal it is.

5. Contact MCACC

7. Contact the ADLA

If you’ve found a feral (wild) stray cat, please contact the Animal Defense League of Arizona for Trap Neuter Return (TNR) assistance, the only humane method of population control for feral cats.
